Studio Legale Mazzoli provides professional assistance in the complex and varied field of so-called environmental law (encompassing the following areas: the energy sector, EU liberalisation processes, waste legislation, remediation of contaminated sites, emission limits for harmful substances, GMOs, ethics committees, and the ethical and professional conduct rules governing medicine and scientific research).

This assistance is also developed through study and research linked to specific university teaching appointments in the field of Bioethics: in particular, Paolo Mazzoli was awarded the teaching contract for the “Course in Bioethics” in the academic years 2015/2017 by the Department of Science and Technology of the Università degli Studi di Napoli “Parthenope”, and, during the XVIII Legislature, he was heard as an expert in the field by the 1st Standing Committee of the Senate of the Italian Republic (Constitutional Affairs Committee) during its committee-stage examination of constitutional bills nos. 83, 212, 1203, 1532 and 1627 (constitutional protection of the environment).
